Gangnam Severance Hospital

Gangnam Severance Hospital opened in April 1983 following the medical expansion of Yonsei University hospital groups, which had started the modern medicine movement in Korea and served as the driving force of development of Korean medicine.

Gangnam Severance Hospital spread humanistic treatment and advanced Yonsei medicine based on the spirits of love, service and Christianity, the founding philosophy of Yonsei University, to the Gangnam region in Seoul, which was a waste land of medicine at the opening of the hospital.

Wonju Severance Christian Hospital

Yonsei University Wonju Severance Christian Hospital opened as Wonju Union Christian Hospital with 50 beds by Canadian Union Mission and the U.S.
Methodist Mission in November 1959with the founding philosophy of “Spreading Gospel of Christ through Medical Service”.
Wonju Severance Hospital has contributed to the national health in the central district in Korea.

Yongin Severance Hospital

As a part of the centennial anniversary of the diplomatic relation between Korea and Germany, Yongin Severance Hospital opened in 1983 and has contributed to the healthcare of residents in Yongin region and medical promotion.

Yongin Severance Hospital plays a key part as the first regional hospital in Korea for the implementation of the medical treatment system.
As the medical demand in Yongin region increased, the hospital was expanded in 1992. To grow as a large hospital to meet the medical demands due to the recent rapid regional development and population increase, the hospital is undergoing a development plan.
